Characteristics and application of JS type snake spring coupling: It is a metal elastic coupling.It relies on serpentine springs to transmit torque.Its transmission characteristics and advantages are as follows:
1. Good vibration damping and long service life. The coupling is axially embedded in two halves with serpentine springs for more than 36%.The serpentine spring leaf of the trapezoidal section is made of high-quality spring steel, subjected to strict heat treatment and special processing. It has good mechanical properties, so that the service life of the coupling is much longer than that of the non-metal elastic element coupling (such as Elastic sleeve pin, nylon rod pin coupling) greatly increased.
2. The range of bearing variable load is large, and the start is safe. The tooth surface of the two half couplings and the reed is curved. When the transmission torque increases, the spring will deform along the curved surface of the tooth to make the two half couplings The point of force acting on the reed is close.The contact point between the reed and the tooth surface, that is, the change of torque, changes with the size of the transmitted torque, and its transmission characteristics are variable stiffness.Therefore, it has a greater amount of load variation than ordinary elastic couplings.It can be seen from the figure below that the cushioning effect produced when the reed deforms along the tooth arc due to the transmission force can protect the safety of supporting parts to a certain extent when the machine is started or strong impact load.
3. The transmission efficiency is high. The transmission efficiency of the coupling is determined to be 99.47%, and its short-term overload capacity is twice the rated torque, and the operation is safe.
4. Low noise, lubricate the aluminum alloy casing to protect the spring from being thrown out during operation, and the casing is filled with butter, which not only makes the lubrication good, but also makes the noise of the reed meshing absorbed by the butter damping and eliminated.
5. Simple structure, convenient assembly and disassembly. The whole machine has few parts, small size and light weight. The spring leaf designed as a trapezoidal section and the trapezoidal tooth groove are easily and tightly matched, so that the assembly, disassembly and maintenance are simpler than ordinary couplings.
6. Larger installation deviation is allowed. Since the spring leaf and the tooth arc surface are in point contact, the coupling can obtain greater flexibility.It can be installed under the conditions of radial, angular, and axial deviations at the same time, and work normally.
